Hi

I've come across port 2030 on an internal server during a audit/test and its been identified as Oracle MTS Recovery. I've checked a few sources such as the database/oracle handbooks and the web but haven't found a great deal of information on it. I'm presuming the Ora client must be installed.

If anyone has any experience with it can they advise if there are security issues related to it and recommend any checks/tests/exploits I should make/run.

Theres a possibility I can sniff the network traffic and see whats being passed between systems but need to confirm.
