I tried to install Oracle Express on my system running Win 2000 with SP3.

I received a cryptic message about Service Pack levels.

I found no FAQ or installation requirements on Oracle's site.

I previously de-installed SP4 -- it has known problems that Microsoft won't repair.

Which operating system and service pack does Oracle Express require?
